Extensis Capital launches investment and asset management platform focused on energy and digital infrastructure

Extensis Capital has launched as an investment and asset management platform focused on energy and digital infrastructure, targeting opportunities across the UK, Europe and the GCC.

The platform is initially focused on battery energy storage, alongside broader opportunities in solar, wind and digital infrastructure. Extensis Capital combines institutional capital with hands-on delivery, with a clear emphasis on execution, risk management and long-term asset performance.

The platform is supported by a senior team with extensive experience across infrastructure investment, development and asset management. This includes Chief Investment Officer Ross Driver, formerly of Foresight Group, and a dedicated trading and optimisation capability led by Chris Regan, supporting asset performance and portfolio-level value creation.

Extensis Capital adopts a flexible, deal-by-deal investment approach rather than a traditional blind pool structure. This enables the platform to align specific assets with investor requirements, including asset type, development stage, jurisdiction and risk profile, while supporting multiple capital partners across a shared pipeline.

The platform is actively progressing a pipeline of opportunities across its target markets, driven by structural shifts in energy systems, grid reform and the increasing demand for flexible and resilient infrastructure.

Extensis Capital is engaging with institutional partners seeking exposure to energy transition and digital infrastructure assets and is focused on building a scalable platform across its core markets.

Jeremy Littman, Founder and CEO of Extensis Capital, said:

“Energy infrastructure is undergoing a fundamental transformation, driven by electrification, decentralisation and the increasing importance of flexibility. We see a significant opportunity to deploy capital into high-quality assets where execution and timing are critical to value creation.”
